RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for assigned region’s customer development & business growth

Sell, with highly consultative-selling skills, BEC wireline & wireless broadband CPE devices and cloud services to ILEC, CLEC, WISPs, Telcos & wireless carriers.
Responsible for new customer development via prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, and strategic closings.
Promote BEC brand & image through participate in partner events, trade shows, and industry/technology promotional events.
Develop BEC’s business network in the region and maintain strategic partner (consultants, eco-partners, SIs, VARs) relationships.
Create product proposals and conduct sales & product presentations to customers, prospects and partners.
Plan and propose regions trade show agendas and promotions
Develops and manages customers and partners’ long term relationships
Timely update and entry of essential activities via CRM and other reporting tools.
Responsible for providing accurate regional sales forecast and reports.
30%~ travel may be required

EDUCATION:

College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

LOCATION:

Dallas TX or North Central/Upper Mid West (MN, WI, SD, ND, IA, MI, IL).

With your subscription you have access to information compiled over the past six years and continuously updated and verified. Information is obtained through state and national meetings, field representatives, TELCO Road Warrior members and press releases to provide the most current data.

Some notes about the website;
• Use the Tag feature to get a full view of a states companies and contacts.
• The drop down menu under Telcos lists the access lines. Access lines can be sorted by lines or by state.
• Contacts are dated per last verification that the employee is still employed, attended a show, was contacted, etc. If the contact has no date it has not been verified for at least one year. It is probably a good contact, just not verified.
* We offer a spreadsheet of ran additional fee.
• Part of the content is developed from our member’s input, so send us your ideas and log-in often to let us know what is happening in your territory. Send your news and input to chuckd@telcoroadwarriors.com. Meeting attendee’s lists are appreciated from all states.

* Some things we don’t advertise;
* We use common names for contacts i.e. Bob rather than Robert. It gives the Executive Administrator the sense you know who you are calling personally.
* Adding cell #s as we receive them.
* To eliminate confusion we do not remove contacts who leave companies. We date the time they left.
* Website contains some Tier 1 information.

The Telco Road Warriors website is web based site for anyone who sells, provides services or needs to stay informed about the ILEC, Cooperative Telephone Companies, Muni’s and Electric companies that provide communications services throughout the United States.

We understand the issues that Road Warriors face on a daily basis trying to maintain your ever changing contact data base. Keeping up with all the state association meetings and conventions, or keeping up with the activities in the telephone industry takes a lot of time. As you know most of the Telco and Association websites are not up to date and provide little or no information. About five percent of the companies provide contact information on their websites. Our information is gathered through research, field representatives and input from our members and each contact is dated on verification. We are a web based site only, to maintain accuracy and timely information to our members.

By joining Telco Road Warriors you will have access to 7,500+ contacts from 1,000+ Telcos and communication companies in each of the 50 states with the option to purchase a spreadsheet for an additional fee. Contact information includes titles, phone #s, addresses and email addresses. We also provide a list of State Association meetings and Conventions and a newsletter of Telco and Telco Road Warrior activity. Information on the Telco’s consists of legacy switches, types of equipment, line sizes and number of exchanges and any information we gather.

Currently employed and living in the Midwest. I am seeking opportunities with a small to mid-size telecom company in the southeast.
